Hello Kenilworth Friends and Neighbours,
Hang on…..
Sometimes we have to walk through a few storms before we see a rainbow!
Thank You
KCL wants to say a special thank you to Colleen who has been our Kenilworth Community Treasurer for several years.
Colleen was very efficient at her job as treasurer. Expenses were always reimbursed in a very quick fashion which is greatly appreciated. Sometimes she found our financial mistakes when we couldn’t!!
Colleen was friendly with a great sense of humour, fun to work with, and community minded. She was very supportive and friendly in community relations and personal relations with executive members.
It was great fun working with Colleen. She has been supportive when anyone needed her advice. Colleen is easy to talk to and share ideas with.
Colleen researched answers when anyone on executive had questions. This was especially appreciated when Colleen would have to dig through past years records to find the answer or the company that did some past service.
Colleen monitored and managed our spending and funds available very meticulously especially through the COVID times.
Any time we made a donation towards a charity of choice for a previous executive member that passed away, she would make beautiful cards and write a touching message.
Thank you Colleen for your excellent volunteer service.
Welcome New Volunteers
We would like to welcome new volunteers to the Kenilworth Executive:

Also thank you to all the volunteers that renewed their volunteer positions for another term.

Practising gratitude doesn’t mean burying unwanted feelings or looking for the silver lining in a bad situation. Practising gratitude means acknowledging what is still good alongside the mess. ~Heidi Barr
