To rent the hall, the damage deposit is $550 and the rent for the weekend – Friday 4 PM to Sunday 4 PM is $550.

The rent for one day from 8 AM to 2 AM is $385. The damage deposit must be paid to secure your date and the rental payment is due five weeks prior to your event.

In the event of a cancellation, a minimum of a three week notice prior to the event is required.

The rental fee includes the tables, chairs, dishes, cutlery, bowls, platters, two coolers, one freezer, and a dishwasher/ sanitizer. The hall offers 22 – eight foot tables; 5 – six foot tables and 195 chairs.

In the bar there is a Braun coffee maker as well as a 100 cup and 30 cup coffee pot and a water kettle. Food must be catered or prepared off site. However, the kitchen can be used to keep the food warm.

The hall seating capacity is 160 and standing capacity is 200.

We have a sound system that we rent for $75.

Please note that the contract, liquor license and event insurance must have the same renters name on it.

If liquor is served or sold the proper liquor license is required. The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commisson (AGLC) recommends, but does not require, you to complete the ProServe program before the event.

Also, it is mandatory to get event insurance which can be purchased from any insurance company or broker. An example is PAL Insurance Broker or Foster Park Baskett Insurance Broker.

  • We retain the right to cancel your rental for any reason.
  • Please, do not exceed hall’s capacity
  • Kenilworth Community Hall closes at 2 a.m. All guests must have quietly dispersed, the facility and grounds must be clean and hall locked by 2 a.m.
  • Keep all noise contained within the hall after 10 p.m.; amplified music must end by midnight.
  • Smoking, vaping and the consumption of cannabis is permitted only 10 meters from the front and small hall door, the playground, spray deck and sport facilities (rink, courts, ball diamond).
  • Helium balloons, candles and sparklers are strictly prohibited in the hall.
  • The hall must be left in the same condition as it was received in.
  • A portion or all of the damage deposit (as determined by the Landlord) will be kept if the requirements are not met.
  • The Tenant is responsible for any damage/cleaning costs in excess of the damage deposit amount.
